John Lipkowitz describes himself as an opportunistic photographer although wildlife is his favorite subject. Since 1998 he has travelled extensively to many parts of the world, but has become addicted to the polar regions.  Since switching from film to digital, and processing, printing and framing his own images for an artist owned gallery, 510 Warren St. Gallery, at that address in Hudson, New York, he has traveled and photographed both for his own pleasure and with exhibitions in mind. The galleries represented here offer a taste of many of those places and experiences he had had over the past quarter century.
